To better serve the citizens of Pike County, Post 70 has formed a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). We train in a variety of areas to assist the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in natural disastors, such as hurricanes and tornadoes, as well as other agencies whenever we can be of assistance. Besides being military veterans, our team members have brought a wide variety of experience in areas relating to public service. This is an example of the American Legion serving our community, state, and nation….If you are interested in joining, contact a Post officer.
